/author now exists, and clicking an author name on an article/blog/etc should get to that author's page.

We may add this back, but haven't built this yet. It was a lower priority item that just wasn't built.

You should not be specifically formatting code. There is a insert/edit code sample button on each edit box. This essentially adds markdown to the site and then styles clean up...

This is data cleanup, which is ongoing. Migration was very complex and we didn't catch all issues. We're working through some of these.

There is no way to go back to the old forums. Data format different, code different, etc. It's a software change.
