    According to Books Online -> AWE, about AWE:

    Support for AWE is available only in the SQL Server 2005 Enterprise, Standard, and Developer editions and only applies to 32-bit operating systems

    First question: Is this a Windows account or a SQL account? That makes a difference.

    If Windows, you need to find out from the AD people what Windows Groups this user...

    The best I can think of is to use SSIS to write the object to a new file. I haven't done it before, but I'm guessing you'll need an OLE...
