Are the posted questions getting worse?

Doh! Just realized I didn't start the newsletter yesterday. That's what comes from being highly unwired and busy on the weekend.

Fortunately our new hardware will get it out in a few hours.

Just open SSMS .... browse to SQLAgent ... choose "add new job" ... complete the steps you need to perform to send the emails , schedule it ... and you nolonger need to launch it manually 😉

I knew something was missing from my inbox but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. 🙂

I noticed that it was missing, but it seems to come at random times anyway, so I just expect it later in the day.

Anyone else do scrum? I'm in a sprint planning meeting and the goal today is to just pick stories and NOT design. We have a couple of people who like to do design all the time.

We do scrum at my workplace.

    Ha, ha ha

The issue is that there are things that need to be in place before the email will go. Some things can't be automated.

However I did manually kick off the job this morning once I'd scheduled things.

Back to posting. Couldn't stand seeing someone mangle the corruption question any longer...

    That was a nice coincidence.

That post was 20012 for Gail and was 19012 for the thread.

________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

And Jeff's catching Steve reasonably quickly. I think early next year (if not sooner) there'll be a change in order in the top 3.

I don't think anybody can catch steve. Remember - he controls the counts 😉
