The SQL Server Luxembourg User Group invites you to join us at our next event, in Docler Holding’s Kirchberg Offices, for a presentation covering the new deployment model of Azure SQL Databases: Migrating to an Azure Managed Instance
During this session, we will be migrating an on premise instance to an Azure Managed Instance. We will be looking into the considerations you have to make at the start, and how you can effectively size your Managed Instance. We will show you what pitfalls you might meet when moving the instance to the cloud and how you can fix them. We will also touch upon how Disaster Recovery and High Availability fit with Managed instances.
After this session, you will be ready to start moving from SQL Server on-premises to Azure SQL Database Managed Instances.
