So, how long now until Gail throws her hands up and goes and leaves this person to figure it out on their own?
I've got until close-of-business (for Gail) today. Which likely means she's already said "Bag it, I've got better things to do than bang my head on this wall..."

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't take it with you... or something like that.
Gail has made a lot of good points and I think that the end user needs to provide more information. I am thankful for people like Gail who help with things like that, but there are only so many ways you can say "did you read the link I sent?"
I say that she gave up roughly 3 hours ago after the last post which I think was the 3rd or 4th time asking for data and not getting it.
The above is all just my opinion on what you should do.Β
As with all advice you find on a random internet forum - you shouldn't blindly follow it.Β Always test on a test server to see if there is negative side effects before making changes to live!
I recommend you NEVER run "random code" you found online on any system you care about UNLESS you understand and can verify the code OR you don't care if the code trashes your system.

I predict useful information posted on June 31
Which year?
π
I would guess he meant 2019 - after all, Steve is not such an hopeless optimist as to think that someone who posts the same irrelevant stuff time and again after being asked to post something different needs less than 25 months to get up to speed, and he would probanbly allow at least a couple of years for the Donald to get round to ensuring that America has to have a revised calendar and clock (12 months of 31 days each, with the daylength adjusted so that the year corresponds precisely to the earth's solar orbit period and the second's length reduced to fit) but he seems to tend towards being pretty optimistic about such people so he won't go for the pessimistic answer (the year after hell freezes over) or even for something just mildly optimistic (like the year after they hire a new dba).
But perhaps even 2019 is hopless optimism, as even the Donald probably won't be able to do that.

You guys are clearly based too close to London. You can get good lamb at a sensible price in England as long as you are far enough from there. Perhaps the distance should be measured from Islington rather from the city.

Steve, https://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/1878981/How-can-I-create-a-report-from-the-supplied-table has PHI posted, in some cases it looks like they tried to de-identify, but I can clearly see age/gender and find a real doctor's name. Please scrub that post.

πThe next post will be of the cumulative stats taken an hour after they last ran it. Granted, they didn't save the first query results, so the second will be meaningless. The odds are even if they'll filter for anything with a total over an hour. Oh, and they probably didn't read your article. Maybe the next step is to offer your hourly consulting rate.
I give up. Is what I asked so hard?
Fortunately I'm going to be mostly offline for the next couple days, giving training in Cape Town
Maybe something will have materialised by the time I get home.

No, Gail, you didn't ask for anything unusual...and you even told him where to go to get it. I don't see it going anywhere, so don't hold your breath.
Judging solely by geography, they might have some serious seafood there. That's a guess; I've never been there. In any event, enjoy your time away.

Based in London, Tom. The last time I bought fresh Welsh lamb was Easter this year, in Wales, from a Welsh butcher, and it was roughly 2.5x the cost of the frozen NZ stuff.

I've managed to make it through the random draw for a ticket for tonight's recording of the News Quiz. BBC Radio 4 - to quote Wikipedia - "a British topical panel game"
The only problem is you aren't guaranteed to get in! You have to make sure you are there "early enough". Jumping on the 3:20 train to that there London, and therefore having to leave the office early. Then a nice walk to the Radio Theatre.
I've been in the audience for a few BBC radio shows. But this is the first time for The News Quiz. Should be a lot of fun, considering what's been going on lately. Although next weeks is taking place on election night, so that's going to be interesting. I've almost missed the cut off point once. While I was waiting to find out if I got in, I was trying to work out what I was going to do if I didn't get. Return ticket on the train for a specified time, so no catching an early one back! Much like today.
I looking forward to it.
