SQL Server is better than Oracle

I wouldn't argue on it... After all it's SSC...

SQL Server is better than Oracle

?? Not sure what you mean. It's not hosted on Oracle, and no fireworks for baiting something that is not true.

I know it's not true and so do 99.9% of the people on this thread. Could have started a funny series of answers... moving on.

Okay, now Steve has to check if 1000+ people have actually posted on The Thread to fact-check that one! Or are you saying part of one person doesn't know, but the rest all do? Given some of the people here (present company included, of course), that might make sense. :w00t:

I thought it unlikely that it was hosted on Oracle and had a vague recollection that it was on SQL Server, but wasn't sure. Does that count as part of me not knowing?

"Ditto?" "Ditto," you provincial putz? 🙂

(This has been a test of the emergency Blazing Saddles system. This is only a test. Had this been a real Blazing Saddles incident, you'd be actually rolling on the floor laughing, instead of just typing "ROFL" after a brief chuckle.)

But I was just quoting Blazing Saddles because of the "ditto" comment.

  • well I upgraded my browser to IE9 and the only thing it seems to have broken is the spellchecker in SSC! It puts the amended work back inside the incorrectly spelt word!

So you will have to pardon any sosillylly spolspellingmistakes.

Couldn't fix it could you steve? 🙂

Interestingly the upgrade did fix the problem I was having with downloading files,, I suspect because a lot of the add-ons were no longer compatible and have been disabled.
