Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • My wife loved Inception, actually wanted to go see it again. I'm not a big Dicaprio fan, but I thought he was fantastic in Shutter Island. He's a good actor, though not really someone that I look forward to seeing.

I did enjoy Despicable Me with the kids.

... Dicaprio doesn't do it for me ...

So may places to take that, I don't even know where to start and not sure if I should...:-D

Please don't take it to the shower:exclamationmark:

It's interesting to hear where people do their best thinking. For me, it is in the shower. I'm relaxed so ideas seem to come more easily at that time.

Definitely wouldn't be thinking about Dicaprio, you, or any other man in the shower :w00t:

Also, no fair cross forum quoting! Makes that quote really funny when taken out of the context of the forum it is in.

  • Steve,

Good luck on the NomCom interview!

  • Never been a Dicaprio fan myself but his latest films have been pretty solid ... Blood Diamond, The Departed (wow), Body of Lies and now Inception ... all very different kinds of films and different roles. There are so few movies that make me think (aside from thinking about how dumb they are.)

The questions of consciousness and perception go back at least to Plato and since they're never really answered they continue to be interesting. I always thought the Matrix storyline would have been a thousand times more compelling had the end result been the realization that their reality was in fact another layer of control. You could never be 100% sure what reality is.

I couldn't help it. It was too funny to see it in the other thread ("Time to Think" editorial) along with the post in this thread.

That's where I thought the ending of part II was heading, and was totally blown away with the possibilities for the story. And then they totally crapped out on us...

Understood it. It was a very funny way to link the 2 forums.

I was being careful, I wasn't sure what I could make public, but since everyone else did I guess I can. I do have an interview with the NomCom next Thursday afternoon.

Ok, I had to lookup NomCom and what I found is WTH??

I'm guessing you're referring to the PASS Nomination Committee, right?

    Congrats guys!
