Are the posted questions getting worse?

Don't get me wrong, Roy. There was an abundance of stunts, fights, explosions, high-speed chases, and automatic weapons fire. But that doesn't distinguish A-Team from any other action movie nowadays.

Like the original series, it was the absurd bits that made it fun. Face was in a prison that wound up being more like a resort. Murdock bribed B.A. with coconut-curry tapenade and toast points.

    Like I said: Cute. 😉

Now I understand why it is cute... 🙂 I have seen the series. It was fun to watch. No need to use your grey cells to understand that... 🙂

Since we are talking about movies, who has seen inception and how do you rate it? For that one, I think I will need to borrow some grey cells from others as well to understand what the heck is happening...!!!

Anybody see A-Team? Seems to be exiting the theaters in a hurry.

Yes. I liked it. It has been in theatres for almost 7 weeks here. During the summer, that is not not a bad run.

    So, is the A-Team a B Movie? 😛

Nope - not at all. It was a good movie.

I'd like to see it, looks like a good escape type movie meant for fun not reality.

Plus, I loved the series, and if the movie is true to series it should be fun.

I liked the series as well. I am re-watching the series currently. There are similarities to the series but the movie is different.

My sources say that grey cells are not required for that movie. Debating whether it is a theatre movie or a rental. Dicaprio doesn't do it for me and the sound in the previews annoy me.

Anybody see A-Team? Seems to be exiting the theaters in a hurry.

My wife and son saw it and loved it. Said it was non-stop action and funny.

... Dicaprio doesn't do it for me ...

So may places to take that, I don't even know where to start and not sure if I should...:-D

  • I haven't seen Inception, probably won't. Haven't been able to see a Leonardo DiCaprio movie since Titanic. And, with what little I've seen/heard, I'm not all that interested. Don't know what it is about DiCaprio, but he's in the small category of actors I don't like to see their movies.

Haven't seen the A-Team yet, it's probably going to be a NetFlix movie, but it does sound fun. And as long as there are corny lines, lots of explosions and action, it will do just fine.

I saw Salt over the weekend. That was a good one. Predictable at points, but still a good action/spy movie.

  • Eh. Jolie is not one of my favorite actors. She seems to play the same character over and over again. I tend not to make time to see her movies. If I happen across it on TV and there's nothing else on, then I might.

Please don't... after the speedo comment from Steve, people are probably running low on Brain Bleach. :w00t:

It is nice to know there are other people who in the "I don't like DiCaprio" crowd. 😉 Although, I'm probably one of the few women in that crowd.

  • Just so you know, I saw the judge / speedo on an episode of Justified (http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/justified/) recently. It was the first thing to pop into my head when someone mentioned judges.

  • Not really a DiCaprio fan, but I saw Inception with my middle daughter and her boyfriend (by the way, they went and say Salt without me, not happy camper!) and we thought the movie was good. Doesn't take a lot of grey cells, but it is thought provoking in some ways.

  • Salt was a big deal here (in Albany, NY), because parts of the movie were filmed locally!

Not female and not lubby dubby over the guy. That titanic movie was probably his best and I couldn't stand that movie either.

Exactly - he isn't that good.

That is a movie my wife and I will watch. Even if Jolie plays essentially the same part over and over - she at least does it well unlike DiCapitated - err DiCaprio
