Yesterday SQLServerCentral crossed the 1,000,000 post mark and it is a milestone that we're very proud of here at the site.Alvin Ramard, a valued member of the community and frequent contributor, made the historic post. His words:

Are we there yet?

It's been over nine years since we founded the site and from day 1 we've been looking to answer questions and help people learn more about SQL Server in a friendly, professional manner. Andy, Brian, and I used to make sure that every single post was answered. The days when three people could ensure that was done have long passed.

Since that time, many people have sent in complements noting how helpful we've been over the years and that has inspired me and others to help out on regular basis. My thanks to everyone that gives their time and knowledge to help others here at SQLServerCentral.
