Configure disaster recovery across SharePoint farms by using SQL Server log shipping
This article describes how to use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 log shipping to create a disaster recovery farm in a geographically distributed data center for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 with Service Pack 2 (SP2). By using this configuration, you can provide a disaster recovery site that provides current search results when a failover occurs.
