You have to provide more information. What are the data types of the source fields and DDL?

It might be as simple as concatenating the fields and converting to date time.

It's also entirely possible with your workload that you need the space. There is not set size for tempdb. You need what you need for your workload.

glad it's working for you. Usually if you install with defaults, the firewall isn't too much of an issue, but it can be frustrating to get it working.

I'd also note your logic is always going to be split this way. Since someone has access with no rows, you have to account for that separately in your logic...
