    Actually, if you define "NULL" as "unknown value" as opposed to "no value", then one could define a nullable char(1) column as "we may not know...

    One possibility, iirc, is that you could have hyperthreaded cores, which means 16 could be 32. Just a shot in the dark.

    You may also have to restart the services, but I'd try the above suggestion first. Chances are CDC is still looking for...
