Hrrrmmmm. This is annoying. If I go into TCP/IP on the server, click over to the IP Addresses tab, scroll down to IPAll and enter 1433 into the TCP Port...

How often are you backing up your database?

I have to agree with gfoxxy93 on this. This is not a SQL specific error.

Think of it this way. Have you ever run into a metadata / data type conversion...
