SSC Fantasy Football 2021

  • Lynn and Rodders:

As far as I'm concerned, no apology is necessary.  Stuff happens!  FWIW I haven't been as astute about keeping on top of this as I have in years past -- which probably partially explains why I'm 2-4 (although it looks like I'm about to go to 3-4)...

I owe the members of the SSCFFL an apology for not tending to my team this past week. I would explain the why but it is not time to do so yet. That decision is yet to be made depending on the outcome of other events. I will leave it at the fact I have been distracted by personal events at this time.

I hope that you all will accept this apology at face level and allow things to play out over the next few weeks. I will strive to do better going forward.

    Thank you.

Lynn, I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that whatever personal stuff you had to sort out is far more important than this will ever be. I hope that everything is ok.

    Thank you.

Thanks for saying but definitely unnecessary.  Your participation in the league is legendary, one week slip is nuthin'.

Hope real life is okay.  Steve and I got to see each other this summer, talk about the importance of staying connected in some form or fashion.  For all of us, this small piece interaction is minute, but could be the difference between a good hour of the day or a bad one.  I need to post more often, also, just to keep the fires burning.

Saints or Seahawks tonight?  I need 7.5 points out of Callaway to get past a dismal outing by Sam Darnold.  Thought this was in the bag when Jimmy only scored a handful from three players after Thursday night.  That's what I get for thinkin'...

    Yeah, well...The Dude abides.
  • Ugh, not a bad week, but the Broncos didn't help me by giving up 140 y rushing to a fisherman. Fire the coach.

  • Anyone interested in trading me a decent RB for one of my QBs? I'm looking for a top 10 RB for Stafford, or top 20 RB for Hurts, but will consider any offers. I have a Derrick Henry sized hole in my lineup right now 🙁

  • Dunno how I'm gonna pull this week out, thanks to Ray for laying a bigger egg than me (and to Aaron Rodgers for...um...).

Yeah, and it didn't help that two of my best players were on my bench.  Yahoo was very vague about whether or not McCaffrey would start, so I left Hubbard in (truth be told, I forgot to check on Sunday morning).  Big mistake.

And my wideouts have been a crapshoot all season.  Hard to know whom to trust.

  • My whole season is cluck, cluck, cluck.

I guess I'm one of those "go to the super bowl and then miss the playoffs" teams.

  • I'm seeing a few familiar names on Spatial Chat at PASS Data Community Summit -- including Steve, Luis, and Rodders, among others!  Shall we find a place for us fantasy footballers to hang out?

When I'm not sitting (or giving) sessions, I'll be floating around the Community Zone somewhere!

I'll pick a room, and will let people know!

I figure the Games Room is a good spot to talk fantasy football!

If I'm not in there, feel free to hit me up in whatever room I'm in, and I'll gladly move the conversation to the Games Room!

  • I started Matt Ryan at QB, and he ended up laying an egg.

I left Aaron Rodgers on the bench, and he didn't do much better.
