Should have stayed away. HEAD ... DESK ... BANG (repeatedly)! My gut feeling is that he is trying to learn the concepts rather than actually setting it up..
I'm not as confident:

It's so sad that I didn't even pause for a second to think about what you meant, just kept on moving, fully comprehending...

A couple years ago someone gave out a complete copy of W95 on floppy disks as a white elephant gift at Christmas. That was pretty funny.I think I've trashed all floppy disks that I've found in my desk. Nostalgic, but the reality is that I'm not sure I have hardware to even read them in the house.
lol I did that on my last laptop, I got rid of the tower that had the floppy drive and didn't even think about it until I needed a copy of my resume. Suddenly realized that I needed to make a trip to the library, because I didn't have that media anymore!

Oh that hurts. Keeping the resume on a floppy - I think I did that once upon a time too. I have since moved on from that and keep a copy on CD, flash, and hard drive. Now, just where each of those can be found - who knows.

Business users could carry a few grams of flash drive, and keep a backup online (something like Carbonite.com), instead of a laptop, if they so desired. Hotels and airplanes could have laptop-like computers that would boot from your flash drive with your OS and data. If you lost the drive (one of the drawbacks, especially if they don't have adequate file encryption), IT could FedEx a fresh one to you, or you could download a fresh copy onto a flash drive purchased locally, whichever was more efficient/cheaper/possible, without the cost of a lost laptop to replace and ship. And so on.
Wow. Sign me up. And heck with the flash drive, save it on my phone, already shlep the damn thing around anyway.

Yep. So long as your phone can be connected to a computer to boot it up.

Anybody know what ever happened to Roy?
I hope he didn't make a TimeWarp parameter error. 😀
Did he say something about vacation?

I seem to remember he said something about a vacation. Unfortunately, I don't remember how long he said he'd be gone.

I just ran into a very smart OP. (No, I wasn't driving)
I asked him if his assignment was due today and he replied with Yes. Then he PMs me for the code. Like I said, very smart OP.
