Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • I just wish the OP would check/post what is in the error logs. That could help answer many questions and provide him with some valuable responses in return.

Should we be working on the SSIS packages now to extract the data from the databases? 😛

No, no, no. You obviously didn't notice the side mention in one post. It's a SQL 2000 database. That means that DTS is the tool of choice here. 😉 😀

You're right, I missed that. Good thing I'm not trying to help. 😛

Halo? Is that what that was? I thought it was an old toilet seat to I threw it in the garbage. If you want it it's still in the dumpster behind the tent. Keep your eye on the hippo as you go around the corner. She's not in a good mood today. Her tutu may be on too tight. We might need a bigger hula hoop.

Surely it does have to cease being an emergency after 24hrs.

    There have been shorter wars.

Next post: How do I prepare for an interview... 😛

I just logged back in and was surprised to see so much sudden activity on that "Emergency"

I'm sorry for the sarcastic comments in the last two posts, but I just couldn't help myself. The Thread made me do it

Should somebody post step by step on how to do that?

Sounds like an article on Troubleshooting SQL Server Problems to me.

Pigeon or smoke signal please. Swallows exceed the internet speed limit in this part of the world.

I've done all the "flinging" I'm going to do.

Threw 2 stones into the puddle. Now I'm watching to ripples to determine the density of the material.
