I was stationed in England for 2.5 years. You know how we knew we were having a heat wave? The old people started dying of heat stroke. They wouldn't take off their heavy wool coats when the temps hit 80F+.At a previous employer I was talking to a coworker who immigrated from England and his workers were agast when we laughed about that.
And you when it is winter here because the trains stop due to the wrong type of snow on the track
Laugh!!! I nearly fell of my chair :w00t:
So I take it that is still a good indicator of England having a heat wave??

I already have AWE check and I have Standard Edition. If you have Standard edition of SQL 2000 then this entire conversation has been completely, 100%, totally useless.
Google and reading of the articles would have ended the thread many moons ago.

I found out that the OP doesn't use Google, so suggested it.
I am expecting this reply next from the OP, what is Google where is available, how to install Google?? 😛 😛 😛

I was wondering what everyone's most earnest Christmas wish is this year. Yeah, yeah, peace on earth...yadda, yadda. But I mean a fun wish.
To get things started, I hope to see this thread roll over to 1000 pages before I travel on vacation. 😀

Any body know if this individual ever came here asking for interview questions and answers and getting them??
I mean, he asks us how to find out what other apps may be on the servers? Please, go ask someone you work with, they have a better chance of answering your question.

I checked that yesterday. If he did, it was with a different user ID, so he probably didn't.

It doesn't look like he actually reads anything that's written. You told him that Standard edition didn't support anything past 2gb several posts ahead of him saying he had Standard edition... sheesh. I picked a good time to have meetings.

I too saw this yesterday (if it was someone who collected Int questions) and did not find much, the the name chosen is an Indian female name, so we may start addressing her instead of him.
But going by the way, he / she does work, I even doubt that name to be an alias name...
