Are the posted questions getting worse?

    Jeff,

OPASS stands for Orlando PASS and, yes, that would be Florida with Disney and all that. It was 80's today and we have the AC on now, so I guess it is usually warm, we do get the occasional windy 50 degree day in the winter.

Are you thinking coming in person or Live Meeting?

    -Jack

And having just come in from a chilly winter New England day... I'm going to have to hunt you down & kill you now Jack. Sorry. Nothing personal.

I can beat Jack's temps. It's been between 26C and 32C here (midday, out of the sun) for two weeks (though only 25 yesterday, was overcast)

    That's between 78F and 90F. 24C (75F) is considered a cool day for summer.

So, when are you coming for a visit Grant?

  • I guess the sunny Caribbean island can beat your climate Gail... 🙂 When do you want to drop by Grant? Also you dont have to travel half way around the world. It is quite close to you..:-) You dont even need a passport. A valid Drivers license is enough. And all those cool beers ...:-) Tempting enough? 😛

I spent the first 37 years of my life suffering through New England winters. I finally made the decision to move south to where there is warmth year round.

  • I should mention that it is going to be cold tomorrow. High's will only be in th mid 60's. I may break out a long-sleeved shirt 😀

  • I blame global warming.

Roy, does your invitation to Grant extend to everybody?

Even better, are you hiring? I've already packed my sunglasses. 😎

  • Actually you are all more than welcome. 🙂 If one of you can come every month on the 4th week the better. I got pass meeting every 4th thursday of the month... 🙂 You can speak at our Pass. 😀

PS : Edited my lousy English... But it is still bad... :hehe:

I'd love to come down & visit. No time soon though. Flights to Orlando are cheap. Flights to SA, not so much.

I'll have to try to arrange a trip at some point. Only problem is, Mrs. Scary actually likes the cold and the snow. There's something seriously broken in these native New Englanders.

Yeah, but at least you're in the right season for that. Jack's in the middle of frickin' winter. I'm with Grant, where are the pitchforks and torches?

  • Here is the fun part of living in Colorado. This past week we have had tempatures down to -13F (not including wind chill factor) and during the day between 1F and 13F. In a week or so, we could possible hit the 60F or better, in fact I have seen it hit the low 70's.

Nah, my arms are almost normal size, it's my legs that are short. My pants need to be shortened, sleeves are usually the right length.
