Allright, I missed a few weeks of the thread because my wife gave birth to a wonderful son. (and thus killing my regular sleeping pattern)Did I miss anything important?
(no, pants jokes are not important)
Congratulations!

Thanks Gus and Grant.
Glad I didn't miss anything, I really didn't feel like reading 200+ posts. 😀
Oh yeah, best wishes for 2012.

Congrats, Koen!
The only thing you really missed was the alien invasion. They weren't terribly impressive aliens, either. They all looked like Pez dispensers and used Christmas ornaments.

Thanks Brandie.
Hmmm, an alien invasion? You sure it wasn't a fat guy in red suite flying around with some reindeers?

Koen, congratulations to you and of course to your wife! Is this little boy your first-born, or are you used to the "disruption of regular sleep pattern" by now. If it is the first one, trust me, it goes away after a few months. At least the two of you didn't end up with twins like my wife and I did (15 years ago). That's REALLY rough. One wakes up, feeds, goes to sleep, one hour later, number two wakes up, feeds, goes to sleep, ad lib.
Oh, BTW, nothing in life is as important as your family. Especially not The Thread.
Enjoy being a dad!

Actually he is my second, I already have a 2-year old daughter. So this time I was prepared and I got myself a case load of Red Bull to stay awake during the day 🙂
For the moment, I'll be happy if the one doesn't wake the other.
Thanks everyone for their congrats.

Wow. It only takes 24 hours to learn Oracle? Sign me up! How many credit card numbers do you need before I get my certification?
I've flagged it as inappropriate. Hope others have too.
