I completed my interview for the PASS board election today. I don’t want to talk about what was in the interview since there are other people that still need to talk to the nominating committee, but I’ll write a few thoughts for next week.

Overall the process was smooth, which isn’t always the case with 8 or 9 people on the phone. One person was the primary interviewer, asking questions, and then once I’d answer, he’d ask for other followups from people. A few collisions, but nothing like some of the large calls I’ve been on in the past.

Now they debate and score me, and if I make the cut, my name will go to the board. If they approve the slate submitted, the rest of the community gets to vote.
