SQLServerCentral.com Email Changes

We are in the process of migrating our systems from one hosting facility to another over the next two weeks. We hope this process goes smoothly and there is no interruption of service, but just in case we wanted to let you know.

The first step in the migration is to start sending mail from our new servers. So starting tomorrow, Thursday, March 8, 2007, we'll begin sending a small quantity of mail from two new servers. The SPF records, host records, reverse DNS entries, etc. have all been added., so a very small percentage of you will get your newsletters from the new servers.

Over the next week we'll slowly ramp up the percentage from the new servers while we're slowing down the old ones. We have to slowly tweak this as a sudden volume of mail from a new IP usually trips all sorts of SPAM filters.

So...

If you experience issues with not getting your newsletter, please send a note to sscupgrade@sqlservercentral.com and we'll try to sort things out. Other than the sending IP, everything should be the same, but we'll see what happens.

Thanks again for your continued support.
