Recently I had the chance to participate in a survey of holders of the MCDBA
and how they felt about certification, how valuable it was professionally, and
more. Today I received a copy of the results and received permission from the
person who conducted the survey - Dr. Jack McKillip, Professor of Psychology at
Southern Illinois University - to share the results here on the site. It's not
light reading and I can't say that I agreed with all of the results (and some
opinions) but a lot of it rings true. I hope you'll take time to download and
read when you can devote a few minutes of quiet time to it, and then post your
comments about it here in the discussion area dedicated to this post. I'll be
