End to End Training

,

A Training Move

When we started our training business this past summer, we had no idea that it would end up being as popular and successful as it's been. We'd like to thank everyone that's attended or even inquired about a class and we hope that more of you will do so in the future.

We've been so successful that we've decided to spin off our training business into a separate company for a variety of reasons. With that in mind we'd like to introduce all of you to our new company:

End to End Training

We've had a few highly successful classes with our End to End Integration Services and End to End Reporting Services classes and we're getting more ready for the coming year. We're also looking to partner with a few other companies as we have with Idea Integration and bring you the highest quality, custom training that is usually reserved for those large companies with very deep pockets.

We haven't changed anything about how our classes work, the perks you get for attending and the high level of service and quality courseware a number of you have experienced. Our goal is not to get you certified but bring you practical and in-depth coverage of material as it's being used in the Real World. Take the red pill and learn how to do things from real DBAs.

Highly Available Training

Maybe a bit of a misnomer, but I know there are quite a few of you out there that have seen our own Brian Knight's "Clustering in 60 minutes" presentation at various events over the last few years. Brian has done extensive work with high availability and written a high quality, extensive class about how you can ensure your SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005 server stays available for clients.

Come to this class on January 29, 2007 and learn more about:

  • Failover clustering - expanded and more capable than ever before
  • Database Mirroring - the new technology in SQL Server 2005 using commodity hardware.
  • Log Shipping - Now available in the standard edition
  • Replication - How you can use this technology to build a failover system
  • and more!!!

This is not a Microsoft class to help you pass a test, but custom teaching that can show you how to build an HA system back at your company. And we buy breakfast and lunch everyday!

We hope you'll check out our training center and site and consider us the next time you need training. And feel free to let us know if there's something you're interested in. We might build a course just for you!!
