A SQL Saturday event was held Saturday, October 11, 2008 in Olympia, WA. Sponsored by the Olympia Area SQL Server Users Group, and coordinated in large part by Greg Larson (who runs www.SQLServerExamples.com), this was the first such event held in Olympia.
Over 130 from the surrounding areas (as far away as Portland, OR and Seattle, WA) attended. There were nine speakers presenting 12 different sessions. Some of the speaker included Buck Woody, Joe Celko, Jessica Moss, Greg Larson, Rushabh Mehta, Ron Talmage, and others. I presented two sessions myself.
