So, based on other article links that do work, I removed each "%23" yielding http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Vcenter+Shrinkdb+VIM_VCDB+VCenterservice/152481/ and still no progress.

I have never used these techniques to date, but definitely am interested in using PS to at least get data out of SQL Server.

In the first Tip, "...generally a Windows of SQL Server login" should be "generally a Windows or SQL Server login."
And in the paragraph immediately after Listing 10.2, I can not...

Smokie, you read my mind. 😉 Such discrepancies usually don't result in any negative impact to the bottom line, but they could drive you nuts if you're debugging your code...
