Good question. I need to set up a new Linux machine here for something else, so I'll test. Right now all my Linux servers are RHEL, no GUI.

The version control feature is designed to work with Git. I do not think this works with TFCVC

I guess VS might qualify, but that's really more of of project specific item, not a terminal that's there. I'll see if I can alter the question to note this.
