No script and I've never really felt the need to use them. Don't see them as that useful and changes occur way more often than I see benefits.

That might be an EM thing. Processadmin should have rights to kill processes, according to BOL. Have you tried using KILL through QA?

There isn't a good way. You could centralize the scripts and just have the DBA or admin run the scripts as DBO, which removes the rights issue, but adds work...
