The administrators don't worry about closing topics. Sometimes there's a solution, sometimes not, sometimes there's a solution, but a few days later someone realizes they need more help.

Current official level is SP2. There are 8 cumulative updates so far. I know people are happy with 6, not sure about 7 and 8. Depends on what you're running....

These two processes (Bcp in/out) work the same. One's in, one's out. It's possible to you had errors, PK violation, etc. on the in.
