Well even in SSIS 2008 this is still a problem. We have a single config. file shared among a dozen packages so we can re-point them all at once.

on the table seeding was set to 1 seed, and 1 increment,
then 0 seed, and 1 increment.
Then identity insert is toggled on then off to insert a zero ID...

Yes the data volumn is pretty big and it's been getting slow with just SSIS, I appreciate the sanity check on the Aggregate Transformation.

there is a truncate task of the same table I am loading

I just had to right click on the config file and select exclude from project.
The config files were still present on the hard drive, and the packages were using them.

Well the Sequence Container uses distributed transactions.
DTC appeared to be the issue for me and switching to SQL transactions with the "keep same connection" option resolved it.

I started getting this "System.ApplicationException: Could not copy file ... to the deployment utility output directory " error too when I set my project to build the deploy package.
