I agree... if the outgoing DBA is leaving of his/her own free will and is friendly about the whole thing, I recommend "belt looping" that person ever day you can....

I believe that is correct... you actually have to use the word "DEFAULT" for unknown parameters in a function.
You should also be aware that functions cannot return result sets directly....

Heh... c'mon.... EAV's and NVP's are cool. You can put the entire database in one table and you only have to worry about maintenance on one index. :-P:-P:-P
