Never heard of someone trying to automate such a thing.
Don't think automating this is a good idea and especially on a remote server, anything goes wrong...

If the logic can be encapsulated in the actual date table and it is used more than once then a physical date table is almost always a better...

Ostensibly, the StartDT and EndDT would be represented using the same DATETIMEOFFSET, which also does NOT change the fact that there are 24 hours in a day....
