I have a stored procedure which is nested. I have local variables defined to avoid parameter sniffing in both the procedures too.

I reiterate my thought on using the NOLOCK/READUNCOMMITTED hints, those are as clever as ignoring traffic lights, they will get you there quicker but if and when an error occurs,...
