What does the native SQL Backup not do for you (other than compression) ?
It's not fast while backing up or restoring when compared to tools like Litespeed.

It is possible, provided the OS is Windows 2003 ( supports max 8 nodes)
But one question is your Node 4 built with specs that might hold all of the 1,2,3...

the problem in this is that if any goes wrong with one database , others will also slow down......

You might change the schema that owns the object as
ALTER SCHEMA schema_name TRANSFER object_name

Rather than install another Instance on the cluster, maybe you could ADD your new databases under the same existing instance.
It's not just one database as you mentioned..may be...

If it is a single job then right click-->properties-->Schedules-->NewSchedule and here select recurring. Now you can select the change tab and enter the days you want to run this job..

I did what you have suggested as below. and I intentionally filled up the E drive where the log files of all the databases reside. But I did not...

Why does it say 'Access id denied'. Can you check to see if the folder holding the data files is accessible or not?

Did it get slow overnight or its been slow eversince it was created..
There are many aspects that can be a cause of the slowness..
Is DML slow or basic read operations...
