You can use SSIS to easily export to XML...
If that won't help, try using Import / Export Wizard in SSMS

You might consider switching the database to simple recovery model if possible.....

Make sure to enter the path correctly and avoiding any spaces. if necessary rename the mdf file
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\lava ent.mdf
