Exactly. The Grand Total is shown in the pivot table within Excel. So is there a way to properly calculate the Grand Total? Ideally the Grand Total should show 100%..

You would then create a new fact table and a new measure group, linked via datekey and personkey, which would also show in Dimension Usage of the cube?

It's far better to set the database to SINGLE user mode with ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE, immediately return it to MULTI user mode ....
The 'with ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE' will automaticcaly kill the connections...

You should try something on the lines of:
SUM([SalesAmount]) - SUM((ParallelPeriod([Calendar].[DateAAAAMMGG].[Year], 1, [Calendar].[DateAAAAMMGG].CURRENTMEMBER),[SalesAmount]))
