I tried to shrink the database but it wont budge.

Why will it be this side if there is so much free space? Do you need to maintain this DB...

The person who posted the question should have specified environment. I didn't have to run the code to know the VALUES statement wouldn't work in 2005. Therefore, I chose "Error"...

I'm going to have to do more research. I'm now being told this happens when disabling jobs through the GUI, not just the code.

We've apparently had the same problem. In disabling jobs (jobs that restore backups down to our Dev server) during month end, the job gets disabled but then still runs as...

Is it possible the server team could go back and restore the .mdf from their backup procedures?

I would check/ask if they have "volume shadow copy" enabled on the server....

But disabling them first will guarantee you'll be able to delete them afterwards.

Can't logon to the system...
