    A similar option would be adding another table CoverageVersionsHistory with the current CoverageVersions structure and move all outdated versions into this history table on a scheduled base.

    You get a table scan because your subquery has no limiting WHERE condition. In order to find max(Effective) per CoverageKey you'd need to scan the entire table (or clustered...

    Copying .dlls may not be sufficient. Some of them need to be registered.

    EDIT: Did you just copy stuff from the other machine or do you actually have SSRS installed on...

    Management Studio allows for the creation of SSAS databases, but not the cubes themselves.
