The only real difference between your SELECT * statement and Magoo's code is the varbinary column. At a guess, this column is storing some sort of images, yes?
Images are huge....

You really need to look up GetDate() in Books Online before you use it. Changing Date() to GetDate() will make SQL do what you tell it, but it may end...
