    in this case SQL server works just like Oracle, restore Full backup and then TRN log until the point where you dropped the table ( using stopat=timestamp)

    When referring to Windows Incremental backups (or Outlook Email system backups), the backup type backs up data. Since the Transaction Log backs up the SQL Server log, not the data...

    In view history, it says 01:43:53 (1 hr 43 mins) and in the backup log, it says 3050.662 seconds (53 mins).

    Could you please clarify me which one is correct?

    Run Profiler or a server side trace. Most people prefer the later because it carries less burden on SQL Server. The GUI can cause issues.
