    YAY!

    When the company pushes packages to desktops / laptops, they create a folder in which the upgrade files are kept. This allows uninstalls, fixes, etc. without having to repush stuff....

    Have you tried connecting in SSMS with an IS connection instead of the Database Engine connection and running it from there?

    I've never actually run a package from the catalog, so...
