Unless they changed it in 2016, if your grid options are setup correctly for including headers, just a regular CTRL-C will do it. No need for the more complex combinations.

In 2014 CTRL C, CTRL+ALT+Cand CTRL+Shift+C all work for me to copy data and headers to Excel

I always right click and copy with headers. I shows the ctl+shift+c key combination in the menu but I never do it that way.

But that's not default option. I actually prefer having the option to decide if I want headers or not because at times I only need the values.

I've set the default options to include the headers with Ctrl-C because, 99.9% of the time, I want the headers. Horses for courses, as they say.
