Are the posted questions getting worse?

But it's a while back since I've last seen a LMGTFY link...

I still use them... strange how I don't get very many replies to the thread after doing so... 😀

He did say "please", but he forgot to say "please dear"

  • I think question #6 cannot be answered on this forum at all:

6 - how operators would move?

The answer would depend on too many things, e.g.

How much money is offered to move? Is there any specific direction requested or would a random move work as well? Do operators have to dance while they move?

    Regarding question 7:

7 - how server objects like backup devices, endpoints, linked servers and triggers would move?

I would expect my backup device not to move even a fraction of an inch/millimeter... 😀

Edit: I know my post may cross the line... But I just couldn't resist. Maybe I'm getting away with it 'cause I'm an ESL too...

    Hey Lynn,

My average has improved to 98.67 posts per day.

    Night all 🙂

See how you are - constantly trying to drive up the class average and distort the bell curve.

I actually think this was quite entertaining, actually. Not quite SOM, but definately had me laughing.

Personally I prefer a moving backup device. It makes target practice more intriguing.

I just try to imgaine how you change a tape the "frisbee-style" :hehe:

But be careful to use one of those old-fashioned 3.5" drives as an alternative... Those can strike back (if you're close enough)! 😀

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
