Yes!!! I am post 11,869 on a single thread. I went all the way to the beginning and read every single one. BTW - very funny Mr. Smith, if in fact that IS your real name...Okay, I give. I'm not going through 11,868 posts to try an figure out who Mr. Smith is.
Could Smith be one of the many aliases used by . ?
🙂
It would only appear that way if he was quoted. Once you change your alias - it timewarps all your posts to use your new identity.

Let alone 1,187 pages.
Only 238 pages for me, I have SSC set to display 50 posts per page.
Hmm - i might do that. That means a lot more scrolling, but also a lot less clicking.

I in the last few weeks started reading this thread too. I started at the beginning and read all the way through it and I'm not sure what the Mr. Smith comment is about. Want to elaborate more Tim?

Awesome blog post. There was a time that I would of been interested in writting a book but a couple things stood in my way. 1) I'm not a very good writter. 2) I never could come up with that type of time commitment.
What are the rewards for you to consider writting another book?

Thanks for both the affirmation of fears on the topic as well as path to take. I have already begun down the path described after "Stopped crying? Other options are to..."

Pretty much holding the book in my hands is the reward I love. It's kind of hard to describe. That and hearing that it was useful. Makes all the pain of writing it recede a bit.

I hate to say, but you're asking the wrong guy. I got my start because I was writing articles. Chat with some of the others. They may have a more structured approach.

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. My mom was beside herself. That's pretty cool too.

I was just saying that you described the path that I started down. I think it is a good path to choose.
