It's a purple kind of day. With a little hint of beige.

Hey guys, going a bit off topic here but would like some advice please as I know pretty much all of you are writers/bloggers.

I've had a blog post copied word for word and was wondering if anyone else here has had this happen? If so, what did you do?

    Cheers, Andrew

Take off. Nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Oh, and do what Koen says. Also, for added protection, make sure you have an explicit copyright page[/url]. I stole Gail's.

By the way - Kudos on slipping in a quote from Aliens (Ripley: "Here what I think: Take off. Nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure")

Solid advice in either scenario 😀

Is it ok to suggest dropping tables? 😀 😎

Well, it would work, but it might not be quite the response they're looking for. It would only be a temporary solution anyway, at which point they just could do it again. 😉

Eeep. Just realised that tomorrow's the 1st of July. Or the 'refresh email every 5 seconds' day.

Or just look on your MVP profile page and bypass that email wait 😉

Thank you sir. That's a Northwestern University building - I think it's the medical school but it could be the law school.

I had my first taste of Limoncello a few months ago. It was homemade by the family-owned Italian restaurant in town. WOW. Apparently the owner makes all kinds of liquor for appertifs (I know I'm not spelling that right, but you know what I mean). He made a chocolate marshmallow one too. Very interesting stuff.

Oh, yeah. I just saw someone post that as a reply to Lowell's "Scripting out DBMail" thread. I reported as a "can this be moved to a new thread of its own" post. Didn't realize it was getting posted elsewhere too.
