Maybe you Googled something nobody in their right mind would want to link ads to, and nobody crazy enough has the money?

Edit: Yep, just Googled "cannibalism", and there were no ads. Googled "Ford Fusion" and got lots of ads. Anybody got the money to buy "cannibalism" as a Google ad-word? Want your product/service associated with it?

I'm surprised Amazon or the History Channel doesn't have an ad. Amazon could link to books or movies about it or at least Silence of the Lambs.

think they'd probably catch some PR flak for doing that. "promoting" cannibalism

I'm sure they could, but their marketing budget probably didn't include that in their ad-words bids.

    Gus & All,

I am giving you a good reason for LOL & ROFL. I was searching for ‘Love’. :w00t:

There is a saying “You can’t buy love”. It was quite contradictory (& funny) because I remember Google used to throw ebay site (sponsored) if you search for string ‘Love’. I wanted to share it with Jason & Jared (discussing on ebay in another thread).

I wanted to reproduce it BUT now ‘Love’ is not available on ebay. :hehe:

I figured Amazon and some other wide sites paid to have an ad no matter what was searched for. I've certainly seen enough that said "books on (variable here) for low prices" and then you click through and there's nothing close to what you were looking for.

That still won't cover all of the bases. You could try getting inside his head, but that won't work either:-D
