Forever it won't dominate your destiny. Life there is after the dark side.
I was going to wait until tomorrow night, but it is close enough.
I am resigning my position with Honeywell. I will be giving my two weeks notice tomorrow.
I have accepted a contract position through TEKSystems at Progressive Insurance here in Colorado Springs.
I already know that I have set some high expectations. I had a phone interview last Monday with two DBAs back in Cleveland. The thirty minute technical screening went really well, and I felt confident that I would get a call back for a second interview.
The next day one of the recruiters I was working with called me at work. When I called him back, he said thet weren't calling me back for a second interview, they were offering me the position.
Later that day I called back to ask a couple of questions and talked to the other recruiter I was working with, and she told me that the manager back in Cleveland simply said that they wanted me.
Definately going to be interesting. I am excited about getting to work with SQL Server again, but anxious as well.

Many thanks for your comments on the above. Hopefully even without SanDroid's endless rant, some people learned something about why not to Shrink a DB.
Again many thanks.

My pleasure, not a problem. He finally irked me enough to blast him one. Usually he's just a nitpicky pain in the butt. That was rediculous.
However, would like a moment of distraction? I got it wrong. I missed the drop on Table A... :hehe:

But which is crazier there - the locking hint or the tortuous where clause (getting rid of all those pointless IsNull operations and the ludicrous case statement would give the otimiser a chance to do something with that where clause; with the current awful thing, there's no way the optimiser stands a chance).
Yes, there's synchronicity - the OP name fits both the hint and the where clause very well.

You may have been kidding, but I already knew I was going to another job. You just didn't realize how true your statement was.
