Thanks guys. I'll leave him be, he's had enough prompting.Think he'll PM you again for more help?
No idea, Wayne.
That really freaked me out, it came straight to my work inbox from SSC.
"One Help,Can i have ur mail iD"
I don't think so.
I had one a couple of days ago that e-mailed because he wanted private lessons on SQL Server from me, and was outraged when I mentioned a price.
Did you specify which arm and which leg you wanted? π
$150/hr. I don't know if that's even vaguely what the market will bear, it's the just the first number that came to mind as being enough to make it worth my while.

"One Help,Can i have ur mail iD"
I don't think so.
Email Id? hmmmm, let me contact Gmail to see if I can get the Id associated with my email address. π
GMail doesn't have that. He's not asking for the ID (abbreviation of Identity or Identifier), he's asking for the ID (as in Id, Ego, Superego). He wants the primal, subconscious, primitive side of your mail! You can tell because he asks for "ur mail iD". The reference to "ur" or the first city, now commonly used to refer to the prototypical aspect, shows he wants the primal sort of "id".

When you encounter a problem, if the solution isn't readily evident go back to the start and check your assumptions.

I'm guessing that would be the part of my e-mail that my spam filter never lets me see...

After seeing the great advice you give out here, that seems like a reasonable price.
Of course, since you don't know him, it requires payment in advance.

Am I being too harsh with this poster?
If what you did over there would be considered being harsh, I'd have to stop posting!!
The effort you put in goes beyond any expected level. Almost 20 posts just trying to get sample data in a consumable way.... Geezz...
Once in a while there's an OP refusing to get any help, I guess.

I think Chris is taking lessons from Lynn on SSC sainthood. π

A list I will probably never be considered for. My dreams of glory are shattered. :crying:
Nah, seriously though, that's more then he's a right to expect Chris. Overwhelming you with trash instead of taking the time to actually read something for longer than 30 seconds implies he's got no interest in doing anything on his own, and wants the internet to hand it to him. Since you've been so gentle I'll stay away from him. π
My own little psycological test of "When will Chris snap and take the OP out to the desert and tie him to an anthill?"
