SQL Server Magazine’s Favorite Go-To Websites for SQL Server Solutions

,

While flipping through this month’s SQL Server Magazine (December 2010), I came across what I thought was a very interesting top 10 list of “Favorite Go-To Websites for SQL Server Solutions”. I could not find the list on the website, but if you have the December 2010 magazine, you can find it on page 21 in the Editors’ Best and Community Choice Awards.

To make it easier for all of you to follow the links, I have included the list below:

  1. www.sqlservercentral.com      – you can follow me here
  2. www.bidn.com                       here
  3. www.sqlserverpedia.com        – and even here!
  4. www.sqlteam.com
  5. www.sqlmag.com
  6. www.sqlblog.com
  7. www.stackoverflow.com
  8. www.simple-talk.com
  9. www.microsoft.com
  10. www.twitter.com

If you really know me, you know that I am not one that is egocentric. In fact, some may describe me as having an introverted personality! However, just to toot my own horn a little bit (we all need that from time to time right?). I have been a top 10 blogger on SQL Server Central for the past few months and am a close second behind Adam Jorgensen (BLOG | Twitter) on BIDN and I can also be found on SQL Server Pedia. That’s right. I have tons of content for the top 3 sites for SQL Server Solutions. So no matter which of the top 3 you choose, please look me up and be sure to subscribe to my feeds if you like what you see. I have blogs and articles for nearly all things SQL Server related. From tips and tricks, Functions, Transact SQL, Reporting Services, Integration Services and even Analysis Services.

So, when I saw this in the best SQL Server publication for SQL professionals, it made me proud of all of the hard work that I have put into passing on my knowledge through blogging and writing articles for the community. I genuinely hope that you enjoy my postings and that I someday get to meet you face to face during one of my speaking engagements. Because it is you (the SQL Server Community) that I stay up endless nights writing and preparing for presentations.

With that being said, I want to thank anyone who has read any of my blogs, articles or have attended any of my SQL Saturday or Code Camp sessions. I would also like to thank SQL Server Magazine for doing the research and posting the top 10 listing for SQL Server professionals around the world.

Who knows…Maybe someday, I will have an opportunity to write an article for SQL Server Magazine! Until that day comes, please be sure to follow me on twitter at @briankmcdonald, subscribe to an RSS feed of my blogs or find me at any of the below methods.
