I flew into Austin Texas today and got to spend time with a lot of great people.  The journey started in ATL with Thomas LaRock and myself being on the same flight.  When we landed in Austin we were graciously picked up by Amy Muehleman and driven to the hotel that a large group of us are camping out at.

Shortly after getting settled in we joined up at a local diner in the parking lot and had a drink before heading out to the speaker dinner.  The location was nice and overlooked the river walk.  The food wasn’t half bad either.  Wes Brown had a great turn out at the dinner and many folks got to meet for the first time.  It was great getting to meet TJ, Wes Brown, Jim Murphy, AJ Mendo, John Rutherford, and many others tonight.

After the dinner Thomas, myself and a group from Idera went out for drinks and music in downtown Austin.  We had a great time and it was fun getting to hang out with new friends.  The Idera crew were a lot of fun.  It was nice getting to see David Fargo again and meeting Heather, Vicky, and Wendy.  Remind LaRock to tell you about the whole topless incident.   Since this isn’t Vegas I don’t think what happens in Austin stays in Austin.  🙂
