A small post regarding a couple SQL books I bought from Amazon.
A couple new books arrived in the mail from Amazon.com. Both are by Stéphane Faroult, whose videos I mentioned a few days ago.
The books are:
1) Refactoring SQL Applications
I’m not sure I’m going to read them cover to cover – more likely I’ll scan through and read through parts that interest me or that I’d like to learn more about. If anything really sticks out I’ll add a post about it [and probably develop some examples, etc].
As a side note, I highly recommend Amazon Prime. For ~$100/year you get free 2 day shipping and very cheap 1 day shipping. Sometimes I buy something Friday afternoon and get it before noon Saturday – for an extra $4. Not bad at all.
